    Amerita, Inc. is a leading provider in home Infusion therapy. We are looking for a Director of 340B Sales to join our Sales team as we grow to be one of the top home infusion providers in the country. The Director of 340B Sales will report to the Vice President of Sales and work remotely anywhere in the United States.

     

    Amerita is an entrepreneurial-founded company and a wholly owned subsidiary of PharMerica. The home infusion market is positioned for rapid growth driven by the aging population, increase in chronic diseases, robust pipeline of infusible drugs coming to market, and an industry shift from hospital delivery settings to lower-cost, high-quality alternative providers such as Amerita.

     

    As a core member of the Sales team, the Director of 340B Sales is responsible for evaluating, building and implementing a 340B strategic plan for all markets nationwide. Maximizing revenue opportunities, the Director will strategically sell to targeted 340B accounts. Additionally, will help build sales and marketing tools to support the designed strategy and work in a “hands-on” manner to gain access to and close targeted 340B contracts. Through expertise, leadership and collaboration with Sr. Management, creates a transparent model targeting key 340B payers and new business lines supporting the financial objectives of the business. This leader maintains highly professional standards and accountability of staff to achieve/exceed departmental and individual objectives.

    Responsibilities

    As the Director of 340B Sales, you will...

    • Lead the 340B business development strategy in coordination with other senior management to achieve long-term objectives.
    • Proactively sell the 340B program to strategically targeted 340B covered entities to become a contract pharmacy; developing new revenue opportunities and reducing economic risk in target markets.
    • Develop and oversee the implementation of 340B contracting initiatives that will drive additional revenue for the company. Ensure 340B covered entities have an account development plan and plans are updated annually.
    • Proactively meet with third party administrators and seek out strategic opportunities for broader collaboration and partnership.
    • Monitor performance of new contracts and performance to ensure KPI’s are being met.
    • Ensure contracting process, pipeline management and reporting, are appropriate to support company financial objectives.
    • Participate in projects, planning, and events that are important to the 340B business including trade shows and educational events to promote company services, visibility, and relevance to payer.
    • Monitor 340B emerging trends regarding industry regulations to determine potential impacts on business and organizational processes.
    • Engage in strategic 340B discussions for expanding product offering and service capabilities.
    • Excellent cross-functional skills required including SME project leadership.
    • Utilize internal systems for progress reporting such as Salesforce.com.

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree in a field relevant to sales and marketing is required. An advanced degree in business, marketing, public health or a related field is also desirable, but not required.
    • 340B sales or related experience with a healthcare services, or ancillary company preferred.
    • Successful experience selling directly to covered entities preferred.
    • Is goal orientated and able to maximize performance through efficient planning and prioritizing.
    • Demonstrates ability to articulately communicate ideas and data both orally, in writing, and through formal presentations. Strong ability to successfully ‘sell’ ideas and strategies key decision makers.
    • Ability to analyze a wide variety of scientific data as well as financial and market research data to make professional management decisions.
    • Notable knowledge, credibility, and significant experience of 340B program requirements and processes
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills as well as ability to build lasting client relationships. Proven leadership and ability to motivate team members.
    • General business and financial acumen. Comprehensive understanding of 340B and managed care terminology, contracting environment, procedures, and workflows.
    • Proficiency with common business software applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word.
    • Regular travel is required in this role.
