    Amerita, Inc. is a leading provider in home Infusion therapy. We are looking for a Director of Collections to join our Revenue Cycle Management team as we grow to be one of the top home infusion providers in the country. The Director of Collections will report to the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management and work in our Centennial, CO office.


    Amerita is an entrepreneurial-founded company and a wholly owned subsidiary of PharMerica. The home infusion market is positioned for rapid growth driven by the aging population, increase in chronic diseases, robust pipeline of infusible drugs coming to market, and an industry shift from hospital delivery settings to lower-cost, high-quality alternative providers such as Amerita.


    As a core member of the Collections team, you will be responsible for the overall collections function. We will help you achieve your goals through continuous professional development and regular career progression discussions.



    As the Director of Collections, you will...

    • Manage all aspects of employee performance, including development and performance oversight, identifying performance issues and coaching employees toward improvement.
    • Develop and implement performance metrics.
    • Collect and analyze collections data that supports finance and accounting operations.
    • Revise and implement policies and procedures to ensure adherence to best practices.
    • Minimize revenue adjustments by monitoring performance metrics and daily work queues.
    • Monitor budget to actual results and participate in the annual budget process.
    • Assist in solving complex collections problems and help team members improve processes, problems and issue resolution.
    • Monitor accounts receivable and produce trend reports and assessments.
    • Provide expertise and direction to assist branch offices in maximizing reimbursement and minimizing bad debt write-offs for government payers.
    • Monitor changes in governmental reimbursement policies and provide leadership in strategic planning to accommodate these changes.
    • Direct the development of training programs for Collections staff.
    • Provide corporate reimbursement direction and resources for start-up and newly acquired branch offices to ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted cash flow.


    • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor degree in business or a related field strongly preferred
    • 5-10 years of managerial healthcare Revenue Cycle Management experience, preferably in home IV therapy
    • Expertise in Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care and commercial insurance carriers
    • Experience with reimbursement systems and ability to learn and adapt to new systems
    • Knowledge of CPR+ strongly preferred
    • Microsoft Office experience required
    • Excellent interpersonal, management and written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent problem solving skills
