Overview

Amerita, Inc. is a leading provider in home Infusion therapy. We are looking for a Clinical Liaison to join our Dietitian team as we grow to be one of the top home infusion providers in the country. The Clinical Liaison will report to the General Manager and work remotely in Houston, TX. 

 

Amerita is an entrepreneurial-founded company and a wholly owned subsidiary of PharMerica. The home infusion market is positioned for rapid growth driven by the aging population, increase in chronic diseases, robust pipeline of infusible drugs coming to market, and an industry shift from hospital delivery settings to lower-cost, high-quality alternative providers such as Amerita.

 

As a core member of the Dietitian team, you will be expected to perform daily marketing and care transition coordination activities for various referral sources, case managers and patients referred to Amerita. We will help you achieve your goals through continuous professional development and regular career progression discussions.

Responsibilities

As a Clinical Liaison, you will...

  • Manage daily and weekly schedule of patient care transition coordination, patient assessment and marketing support activities.
  • Provide patient education teaching sessions.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with referral sources.
  • Seek out new referral source contacts and opportunities for additional referral activity from existing referral sources.
  • Completes clinical and patient care coordination documents timely and accurately.
  • Submit a weekly activities report to the General Manager.
  • Demonstrate positive, informative interaction with other departments, co-workers, referral sources and hospital physicians.
  • Adhere to all applicable policies, procedures, safety plans and standards imposed by regulatory organizations and Amerita.
  • Coordinate referral source and patient activities closely with the Account Executive(s) responsible for the customer account.

Qualifications

  • Degree in dietetics from an accredited school
  • Current license to practice dietetics in Texas
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Dietitian
  • Previous marketing experience preferred
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
